Save the key details immediately
Keep the service name, guest name, booking number, date, time, party size, payment status and address in a screenshot or offline file. Save the original email or official page as well as the app listing.
Know what the QR code means
Check whether the QR code is an entry ticket, a voucher to exchange on site or only a reservation reference. Read whether a passport or payment card is also required. Label multiple codes with the date and venue.
Check time, place and admission cut-off
Look beyond the date: confirm entry window, meeting time, last admission and late-arrival rules. Compare the address and station exit on a map, and allow time for airport or venue security.
Read cancellation rules before paying
Record the free-cancellation deadline, changes, no-show treatment, refund method and fees. When plans change, confirm the refund and new availability before pressing a cancellation button.
Use official help at the venue
If a booking or QR code is missing, use the platform, operator or official ticket desk rather than an unverified contact from search results. Show the booking number, name and payment time, and check status before paying twice.
