Editorial principles

Korea, Clearly is an independent project about technology, industry, cities, transport, culture, travel and everyday life in Korea. We do not exaggerate our access or experience, and we distinguish facts, interpretation and recommendations. Korean drafts are the basis for the site; foreign-language editions aim for natural context rather than word-for-word substitution.

Sources and corrections

For statistics, rules, transport, safety and prices that can change, we prefer government, public, operating or primary sources. We link key references and disclose meaningful updates when an error or important change is found. Readers can report wrong or outdated information, and personal experiences are not presented as universal facts.

Image policy

We use real photographs only after checking that reuse is permitted and recording the source, creator, licence and whether the image was modified. Images with unclear permission are not used. AI-generated images are labelled clearly and are not used to present historical events, places or people as documentary records.

Advertising and affiliate disclosure

The site currently has no advertising or affiliate links. If Google AdSense or travel and lifestyle affiliate links are introduced, the relationship will be disclosed near the link and in this policy. Prices, availability and terms belong to third-party providers; Korea, Clearly is not a party to a payment, booking or refund.

Privacy policy

The site does not offer accounts, comments or newsletters and does not directly ask visitors for personal information. Hosting and browsers may process technical information for service, security and basic logs. Google Analytics 4 is used to understand visits only when a visitor permits analytics storage; we do not use it to identify individuals or personalise advertising.

Cookies and analytics consent

Beyond essential service and security technology, analytics storage starts only after the visitor chooses to allow it. Refusing does not prevent reading articles or changing language. The choice is stored in this browser as kc-analytics-consent and can be reset by clearing that local value.

Accountability and contact

Korea, Clearly does not claim affiliation with a government agency, tourism board, transport operator, accommodation provider or brand. For corrections, image-source or licence questions, and privacy requests, use the public email on the Contact page.
