No Seoul hotel is close to everything. Choose by the airport-arrival day, the places you want to see, how you will return at night and where you leave next. Map a real first and last journey before comparing price or a famous district name.
Seoul Station and Hoehyeon
Useful when KTX, airport rail or another city is part of the trip. Check which station exit and side of the tracks your hotel uses; the walking route with luggage matters more than a straight-line distance.
Hongdae and Yeonnam
A good base for cafés, meals, small shops and evening walks, with an airport-rail connection. If quiet sleep matters, check the hotel’s distance from busy streets and recent guest comments, especially for weekend noise.
Myeongdong and Euljiro
Convenient for a first visit combining central sights, shopping and metro changes. A Myeongdong address can still mean a different exit, slope or building entrance. Check bus or taxi drop-off, check-in time and the route home at night.
Gangnam and Jamsil
These save time when work, shows, exhibitions or several plans are in southeastern Seoul. They can add long rides every day if your itinerary is mostly palaces, Seochon or Hongdae. Count the round trips, not just the city name.
Put the exact address into the itinerary
Shortlist two or three properties, then map the exact address from the airport, your first stop, one late return and the final departure point. Confirm lifts, stairs, luggage storage, late check-in and cancellation terms directly before booking.
