Receiving deliveries in Korea

Accommodation, convenience stores and address checks for travelers.

Korea’s delivery network can be fast, but location and date matter more than speed for a traveler.

Confirm the accommodation policy first

Hotels, guesthouses and hosts have different parcel policies. Before ordering, ask whether they accept it, how to write the guest name and how long they can hold it.

Verify the address and contact details

Road address, building name and room number can all matter. Use the accommodation’s own formatting and confirm that any required phone number can be reached.

Leave time around travel days

Delivery dates may change. Avoid an order for check-out or a city-change day, and save seller, carrier and accommodation contact details.

Read convenience-store collection conditions

Some sellers may offer collection, but it does not apply to every item or store. Confirm identity checks, holding period and fees at checkout.

Order only what is necessary

A traveler’s location and schedule change often. Store order confirmation, tracking number and messages if delivery is the best option.
